Two of PSI’s founders, Theodore H. Blau, Ph.D.
and George W. Albee, are previous Presidents of
the American Psychological Association (1977 and
1970, respectively). Both Drs. Blau and Albee
have made significant contributions to the
practice of psychology and have a long
and distinguished association with APA. Drs. Blau
and Albee were joined by Allan G.Barclay, PhD.,
and the three served as the Board of Directors
of Psychological Seminars, Inc., for three years.
In 1982, Fred L. Alberts, Jr., Ph.D., the corporation’s
current President and CEO, joined PSI as Executive Director.
Under Dr. Alberts’ leadership, PSI built on its foundation of
high quality programs and expanded offerings to professional
resources, including The Cue Book: A Courtroom Companion.
The Cue Book Series has been an extremely successful
venture for PSI and remains one of our most exciting product
lines.
Today PSI strives to provide high quality,
useful, cost-effective products and programs for the
practicing psychologist.
